What's Happening With My Web Design Business
It's been some time now since I decided to start a web design agency, LM Web Design. Here's an update on what's been happening: Nothing.
I did a free project for a guy at work, for his cake baking business. He was happy with the result. I kinda was. But since then, nothing. I haven't chased any new work. Just left it there.
Why? I'm not sure.
A guys at work sent me this link the other day which I found refreshing. It is from a web design agency that has a no-frills offer. The url is awesome too: payorpissoff.com
Given my current life situation: I am time poor, and my wife will be giving birth to our second soon. This might be a direction I can take LMWD in, lean heavily on templates, and serve the lower-end of the market. Perhaps I was blinded by wanting to build high-end sites.
Anyway, I don't anticipate doing much work on LMWD in the coming months, but I will leave this idea on the backburner for when I do pick things up again.
